Overheard in Atlanta

I’m a big fan of Overheard in New York. I think it’s hilarious how our different environments can color your day. Often I’m put in a better mood by just casually overhearing / reading something hilarious, puzzling, or dumbfounding.
“They can’t figure out how to pick up recycling weekly, so how on earth are they going to figure out a rotation?”
– Kirkwood neighbor
“House a few down from ours just got burglarized. God, I love Atlanta. One day, I’m going to have to shoot somebody.”
– Father Muskrat‘s Twitter feed.
Her: “You just don’t understand”
Him: “What did you say?”
– coffee shop, Oakhurst
“Is it wrong to buy fried chicken today?”
– Decatur Kroger (on MLK Day)
“Fuck Schroedinger’s cat.”
– Georgia Tech Student Center
“The bears are a’comin!”
– East Atlanta Village
We should totally do one for ATL! LOL
If only that were a happy comment. Ah well.
