Desperately Seeking Spring

I am so fucking over this dreadful winter weather.  This has got to have been the longest, rainiest winter since I’ve lived in Atlanta.  And snow – 3 times!  My poor kid doesn’t even realize she’s in the South since I have to wrap her in multiple layers to prevent frostbite every time we go out.

And every time the sun peeks out for a few days, we’re slammed with another round of rain (or snow!).  Tease.  It also doesn’t help that I’m still home on maternity leave, so I’d go ahead and say we’ve spent the majority of it indoors.

Thinking positively, I’ve enabled my retail therapy sessions and bought the girl a few spring-y outfits.  And can I say how impossibly impatient I am for bathing suit season?  Squee!
